Data Collection
We collect data from coastal and campus cleanups, water bottle filling station use, and reduction challenges, as well as observations of single-use plastic and alternative item use. We also conduct community surveys. These data will be posted below to keep our community updated on our progress.
Monthly data were collected from water bottle filling stations on Eckerd's campus to track the number of single-use water bottles saved. This data can be found here.
Each month, hour-long observations were conducted at several high-traffic locations to track trends in behavior. This data can be found here.
Data were complied from beach cleanups conducted during the 2018-2019 school year. A summary of the debris collected can be found here.
